Nature is sure giving the light show of Marina Bay Sands some tough competition tonight…

Secret Party by Absolut Elyx
Me and Sabine went to a Secret Party by Absolut Elyx on Friday in one of the conserved shophouses on Tessensohn Rd. Gorgeous house but it was like walking in a labyrinth with stairs going to various floors from all angles.

Bex Almqvist, Absolut Vodka Ambassador (and a fellow Swede. Yay!) created some amazing drinks!

I love this view!
Better late than never
Halloween was a couple of weeks ago but haven’t really had a chance to put the pics up until now so here you go – I had two parties over the same weekend,..had more creativity for my costume at party no 1 than I did for party no 2 which was a bit unfortunate but such is life.
Enjoy the show!
My town
Always come prepared
I should be so lucky, lucky, lucky
Don’t rain on my parade, my clowns brought umbrellas
After three weeks of totally scorching heat and everyone wishing for some rain to make being outside more bearable we finally got it. Buckets of it. First two days it was very heavy showers. Typical tropical rain. Now, it’s been raining constantly for 12 hours and it doesn’t look like it is about to stop anytime soon either…but I like. I like very much!
I like my money right where I can see it – hanging in my closet
One singular sensation
Monday again. Sigh.
Had a pretty relaxed weekend, the only exciting day was Saturday really. It started off with a belated birthday lunch for two of my friends, Nicky and Tony, at Capricci. Most of the gang was there which was great fun and luckily we had a table inside because it was one of those absolutely scorching days outside, the ones where the aircon is your superbest friend.
The food was brilliant (the homemade paccheri with homemade Italian sausage, Portobello mushroom and Parmesan cheese sauce was to die for!), if you live in Singapore I really recommend you to try this place. It’s located on 27 Tanjong Pagar Road.
Unfortunately Saturday was one of those days where one thing came after another so straight from lunch me and Julian (another friend) went to meet my parents for dinner at Osteria Mozza. After having had four courses at lunch, dinner wasn’t what I wanted at that point so settled for a small appetizer. Felt a bit bad about that as they do have some fantastic food there (and a very cute bartender…but that is besides the point). Next time.
Dinner done it was time for the evening’s event. A Chorus Line. I like the movie but had never seen it on stage. And I loved, loved, loved it! Some of the characters are just hilarious.
Afterwards the plan was for me and Julian to meet up with the gang again but they all called it quits pretty early so we ended up going to South Coast to meet with some of J’s friends. 3 hours and one big bottle of Perrier later I decided to call it a night and oh, was I happy about that waking up on Sunday morning. Head clear and me ready to tackle the day already at 9am – and I did get a lot done but as it was mostly those hateful household chores that we all have to do, I am not going to bore you with the details.
How was your weekend?
Top, shoes and bag – Zara
Skirt – homemade
(Hmm, I seriously need to get a little bit of tan on my face, those dark circles under the eyes are not looking good!)
