A spoonful of sugar

Standard

Every now and then they treat us to a nice buffet lunch at work, today was one of those days – this was to celebrate the opening of our newly renovated office (well, we have been working in it for a while now but guess it can still be called new). Unfortunately for me there weren’t that many things I could eat, suffering from food allergies that I do (and many things on that list are often used in Asian cooking) this is something I am getting quite used to though. My rumbling stomach doesn’t really agree with that. Time to hit the snacks and cookie drawer soon me thinks. Yes, we have one of those. For good and bad. Mostly bad.

I was going to show you a pic of the buffet as it was a really nice one but I only thought about taking a pic of it when it looked a real mess so instead I’ll post some of my various likes on Pinterest this week. Maybe not the same thing but hey…

Send in the clowns

One of my friends here in Singapore, Chris Palm, is a really fantastic photographer and he is currently exploring a new take on, among other things, conceptual portraits.

He did a session with another friend, Eden, the other day. Even though this picture totally freaks me out, I also find it soooo amazingly brilliant. Well done Chris and thank you for letting me share it…

If you want to see more of Chris’ work you can do it here.
